Alongside photography, I’m also a psychology student at Loyola, which has deepened my appreciation for human connection. That perspective helps me notice the genuine moments that make each story unique. What inspired my involvement with Mia Colone Photo is the opportunity to capture moments, emotions, and perspectives that often go unnoticed. From a young age, I loved taking pictures, whether they were perfectly clear or slightly blurry, because each image held a memory. When I received my first Kodak camcorder for Christmas, I knew I had found a passion I wanted to share with others. For me, photography is about more than just pictures. It’s about creativity and holding onto memories you’ll want to relive again and again. I love that there’s always something new to learn, whether it’s playing with light, finding a fresh angle, or adapting to a new setting. Every session gives me the chance to grow, connect, and help create images that feel real and timeless.

Mia and I have been best friends since we were 12, and it feels so special to now be part of her dream. My main role is joining her during high-work sessions. Whether it’s helping style a client so she can frame the perfect shot, or simply making sure the little things don’t go unnoticed. I know what it feels like to want everything to be just right, and I love being the extra set of hands and eyes that helps bring calm, creativity, and care to every session.
