While I specialize in newborn photography, my journey actually began with families. photographing the laughter, hugs, and little in-between moments that make your bond unique. Those roots are what continue to inspire my work today. Family sessions are relaxed, fun, and focused on connection. Extended Family Sessions are a wonderful way to bring everyone together. Grandparents, siblings, cousins, and all the generations in between. These sessions allow time for both large group portraits and smaller breakouts, capturing the unique connections that make your family one-of-a-kind.

The best time depends on whether your session is indoors or outdoor. I recommend scheduling your session an hour after sunrise or the hour before sunset. The soft, warm light at this time creates beautiful, flattering photos and avoids the harsh shadows of midday. Early morning sessions are ideal for in-home sessions, as natural light is at its brightest and softest indoors.
When is the BEST time to schedule family photos?

Most family sessions last about 30-60 minutes. This allows plenty of time for a mix of posed and candid shots, outfit changes (if you’d like), and breaks for little ones. We keep the pace relaxed and fun so no one feels rushed—capturing your family’s natural connections is always the priority.
