I'm Mia, a Windy City based natural light photographer, I spend my evenings chasing sun flares with the most loving couples and families in front of my camera. Hey there, I'm Mia, a student at Loyola University Chicago. As a dedicated student, big sister, and Mayor's Youth Commissioner for the Department of Public Health, I've learned to see the world through different eyes—ones filled with a deep appreciation for the little moments that make life so special.
Perhaps my greatest inspiration comes from being a big sister to my three incredible siblings. They're my muses, my cheerleaders, and my constant reminder to embrace every moment with open arms.

Mia is very responsive with her commications and promptly met us for our first family of 4 photo session in Lincoln Park-Chicago. She was able to direct us, provide feedback, and capture the photos we had hoped for! She promptly delivered the digital images after the shoot. We did a basic session and would absolutely consider returning to use her services in the future!

Mia was wonderful to work with! I booked a Mother's Day mini session with Mia a bit hesitant as I have twin boys that were 7 months at the time. Juggling two non-mobile babies felt like a tall task for photos, but not only Mia was great at easing my worries, she was wonderful on instructing how to pose with them and overall a joy to talk through the whole process on! She captured such beautiful moments that I will cherish forever. Especially as a mom who is usually the one behind the camera - I have these photos with my babies to reflect on.

Eight years ago, when my youngest sister was born, I discovered the magic of photography. With a camera in hand, I began to freeze moments in time, capturing the fleeting beauty of her newborn smiles, childhood adventures, and the bond that ties us together.
As my sister grew, I decided to turn my passion into a craft when I began Mia Colone Photo LLC in Oct 2019. Over the past 5 years I have had the honor of preserving love for over 200 families in the Chicagoland area. I can't wait to meet you.
